Alexandra spent 15 years studying the production of the human voice as a working opera singer. She is now a full time Voice Coach, Singing Teacher and Tutor for the College of Sound Healing in the UK.
After training as a Sound Healer and CoSH Tutor with Simon Heather, she now combines her understanding of voice production and Sound Healing to help people find, rehabilitate and rediscover their voice for singing and speaking, stress relief, emotional healing and general well-being.
This popular workshop has been running for the last 5 years and will teach you how to relax, calm and strengthen body and mind, prevent illness and enhance wellbeing through using YOUR VOICE. Learn more about this amazing healing tool we all have within us and how to apply it for healing yourself and others.
The day will be a balance of theory and practical and will include:
Learning Vocal Toning on the Breath
The Use of Body Scanning and Relaxation Meditations with Vocal Toning for Pain Relief
Diaphragmatic Breathing - for Calm and Stress Relief
Reconnecting To Your Natural Sound - Your True Voice
The Power of Chant to Quieten the Mind
Affirmations and Understanding Your Inner Voice
Understand the Healing Power of Your Birth Name (Sonic Identity)
If you are afraid of vocalising in front of others, don’t worry, you will not be asked to sing or sound on your own… All voice work is done as a group. This workshop is for everyone!
If you are doing the College of Sound Healing Practitioner Training then this workshop will count towards one of the two additional workshops.
If you are considering joining the CoSH Practitioner Training, this workshop is a helpful introduction to working with the voice for healing.

Yin Yang Yoga and Sound with Alexandra and Salyanne

The afternoon will begin with a cosy warm up with Hatha Yoga and Sound followed by Yin postures with music and song. All yoga will be led by Sallyanne and Sound by Alexandra.
The Yoga will be gentle, however some experience is preferred. Please get in contact if you are unsure.

This Workshop is for qualified Sound Practitioners or students on the CoSH Sound Healing Practitioner training who wish to be insured to work in a Sound Bath setting or those who would like to learn more about working with instruments for healing and meditation in a group environment, possibly also Yoga teachers/therapists.
This workshop counts as one of the additional workshops for the CoSH training.
Some insurance companies have recently demanded that Sound Healers/Therapists be specifically trained in the instruments they use for Sound Baths and have an understanding of how to administer Sound to people on mass, as well as one to one.
This workshop will give you a CoSH Certificate of Attendance which you can then present to your insurance company to add to your existing Sound Healing Practitioner Training.
The Workshop Will Cover:
Creating a Sacred Space
Using Instruments and Voice
Balancing Sound and Silence
Working with Group Energy
Grounding
Clearing Energies
Giving your own mini Sound Bath
Six Sound Baths will need to be written up as homework to complete the training.
This fun and informal day will be a balance of theory and practical.
Instruments (Tibetan Bowls, Gongs, Rain Sticks, Chimes, Shruti and more) will be available to play, but feel free to bring a few of your own instruments you would like to work with.
Tea, Coffee, and biscuits will be provided, but you will need to bring a packed lunch.
You will also need to wear comfortable clothing for warm up exercises, and giving and receiving of sound baths.
How to Work with Crystals and Sound - An Introduction

On this workshop you will learn how to:
Sense, cleanse and dedicate crystals for work with Sound
Choose appropriate crystals for healing others
Work with crystals during one to one Sound Healing treatments
Release pain from the body using Sound and Crystals
Balance the Chakras using crystals
This informal day will be a balance of theory and practical and is an introduction to working with Crystals and Sound.
The workshop is most suited for those training to be Sound Healers, or those already trained that would like to add the Crystal dimension to their work.
This workshop serves as one of the two additional workshops required for the CoSH practitioner training or as 7 hours CPD. You will receive a CoSH certificate of attendance on completion of the day.
All crystals will be available to use for the workshop. There will also be an opportunity to purchase crystals from our selection should you wish to. You are also welcome to bring your own. More info will be provided about this on booking.
For this workshop Alexandra will be joined by her mother Iris Rigazzi-Tarling Cert.Ed, DipSoc, FIPTI.
Iris is an experienced lecturer in Education, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Crystal Therapy. Her work with crystals has been extensive and she devised one of the first crystal therapy training courses for international accreditation in the UK.
Iris has written several books for Education on Business Practice for NVQs and Higher Qualifications. She has been an advisor and validator for several national awarding bodies in complementary therapies and has many years experience in both industry and education. Iris runs her own business as a home visiting practitioner in complementary therapies.

It is widely acknowledged that the key to our healing on so many levels can occur by allowing our voice to sound freely, without fear and judgement. Allowing the breath to deepen encourages relaxation, and connecting the breath to the voice through toning and chant allows a natural state of meditation to occur.
Meditative voice use, such as toning, changes your brain patterns helping you achieve a deep state of relaxation more easily.
In addition it promotes good health and wellbeing by offering all the same benefits of singing (but without the music, notes and getting it 'right').
This session is NOT about singing, making a "nice" sound or performing to others. It is about discovering, allowing and strengthening a part of you that for many people has been suppressed. All vocalising is done as a group.
This session will include:
Guided Breath Meditation
Guided Toning (connecting the breath to single vocal tones)
Improvised Toning Meditation
Chanting
Please arrive from 7.15pm.
No admission once the session has begun.

This class is about mid week relaxation!!!! Allowing yourself an hour of calm and tranquility to get away from it all.
You just turn up, bring a mat and cushion to lie/sit on...or both, whatever you need to sit or lie comfortably for an hour.
We start with a guided meditation to deepen your state of relaxation and then a Sound Bath using Tibetan Singing Bowls, Chimes, Rain Sticks, Rattles, Native American style flutes, Improvised Voice and a beautiful Sun Gong.
You can simply listen to the sounds, drift off, meditate, contemplate life or not...but the aim is to take a peaceful hour out of your routine, enjoy the therapeutic benefits of Sound and put things in perspective, taking a slice of tranquility back with you for the rest of the week.
This is a drop in class, but it's always helpful if I know who is coming as we can get quite busy!
Please arrive from 7.15pm to find your space and settle. No admission once the meditation has started.
If you are pregnant, terminally ill, have severe mental illness or a pacemaker, I need to know in advance. In addition if you have a condition that could be exacerbated by variations of Sounds such as Tinnitus or Meniere's Disease, please be in contact before attending.
If you are suffering from a fresh cold or a bad cough, please consider others before attending, as this event encourages peace and quiet.
